Carl Runefelt grew up in Stockholm, Sweden. He began his career working as a cashier in a grocery store before entering the cryptocurrency market, where he achieved significant financial success within two years.^[3][1] He was 24 years old when he started posting daily Bitcoin videos.^[2] Runefelt credits his belief in the "law of attraction" as a driving force behind his business and investment decisions, operating under the personal motto, "Visualize. Runefelt is the CEO of The Moon Group, a business consulting and service company he launched in November 2021.^[1]​^[3] He aims to contribute to the growth of the crypto industry through strategic investments and by sharing his expertise in technical analysis of the blockchain industry.^[3]​

Out of all the cryptocurrencies, he is very bullish on Bitcoin. Regardless of the price going up and down, he always holds the coin and tries to buy the coin at the correct time. Carl Runefelt's portfolio consists of 95% Bitcoin. He believes that Bitcoin will grow tremendously in the future. He has been accumulating Bitcoin for years and always stated that altcoins are in a bubble and he sold his altcoin holdings near the peak of the altcoin bubble at the beginning of 2018.

Carl Runefelt has always had an interest in monetary policy, economics, and macroeconomics. He researched the Federal Reserve System, the banking system, and the monetary system in general before he went into Bitcoin. Carl Runefelt believes that the value of Bitcoin doesn't necessarily come from Bitcoin itself but from the flaws of the current monetary system.

On the stock market, he stated:

"We've seen trillions of dollars that have been printed to bail out the banks since 2008. Combined with low interest rates, we've seen global stock markets soar to all time highs in the past decade. This is all fake prosperity, financed by cheap debt. The current debt bubble is much bigger than back in 2008 and a financial crisis is inevitable. This time will be worse though, and I expect us to see the Great Depression 2.0 in the next few years with record unemployment. The dollar will eventually collapse due to the pressure of this debt and this is why Bitcoin was created. Bitcoin is an alternative currency, where you don't need to trust governments or banks not to expand the currency supply. Bitcoin is a new form of money, it's the peoples money."
