Mark Greenberg completed a joint Juris Doctor and Master of Business Administration at the University of Toronto’s Rotman School of Management between 2005 and 2009, with studies spanning law and business. He joined Kraken Digital Asset Exchange in 2022, where he has served as Kraken Canada CEO, Global Head of Asset Growth & Management, and later Vice President of Consumer Business and Products, overseeing retail platforms, consumer applications, staking and rewards products, tokenized equities, and regional operations across multiple markets. In parallel, he is a co-founder of xStocks. Prior to Kraken, Greenberg spent several years at Scotiabank in executive technology roles, including Vice President and Global Head of Technology Transformation, Global Head of ScotiaTech Engineering Hubs, and Head of Business Operations for Global Technology, focusing on large-scale modernization, engineering hubs, and operational management. Earlier in his career, he was a Partner and Fintech Venture General Manager at BCG Digital Ventures, where he led the creation and launch of multiple financial services ventures, and previously held progressive roles at Boston Consulting Group as Consultant, Project Leader, and Principal. His early professional experience includes roles at Davies Ward Phillips & Vineberg LLP as a legal associate and at IBM Canada in various positions. [1]
