About TokNox
At Decipher 2024, Brigato introduced the TokNox tokenization platform built on the Algorand blockchain. TokNox aims to address issues related to data management and digital processes by offering a notarization service that ensures proof of existence, immutability, and transaction history. Initially part of Blockchain Italia, TokNox evolved from their previous product, Dedit, and has engaged with regulators to ensure compliance with European digital identity standards. The platform targets both real-world asset management and digital document processes, with plans to launch in September 2024, followed by further development in smart contracts and workflow editing features. TokNox Pitch
In his presentation at CES 2024, Brigato introduced TokNox, a platform developed by Blockchain Italia. The platform, built on blockchain technology, allows notarizing, managing, storing, and signing digital files. It aims to tackle issues like fake content and plagiarism while enhancing transparency in document management. TokNox integrates tokenization to validate workflows and ensure regulatory compliance. Brigato highlighted the platform's focus on the electronic signature market, with broader applications in the real-world asset sector. Having tested its solutions in Italy and selected for the European Blockchain Sandbox, TokNox offers flexible membership plans for consumers and businesses, including customizable options. He also discussed plans for further development, including a mobile version in 2024 and the company’s search for funding to expedite growth. [5]
Real World Assets
At ETH Milan 2023, Brigato participated in a panel discussion with Simone Romano (IoTeX), Giorgio Giuliani (Backed Fi), and Francesco Biviano (Arcton). It centered on the challenges and opportunities of tokenizing real-world assets (RWAs) within decentralized finance (DeFi). Each panelist introduced their respective companies and discussed their involvement in tokenizing assets like U.S. Treasury bills, stocks, and shares, particularly focusing on regulatory hurdles and technical barriers. Key points included the growing interest in tokenizing Treasury bills due to their stable returns, the importance of infrastructure and compliance in enabling RWA tokenization, and the complexities of adhering to regulations across different jurisdictions. The panelists acknowledged that while tokenizing real estate and other non-liquid markets offers potential, such developments are still years away, and current efforts focus on financial assets with clearer regulatory pathways.
