Diep Nguyen is the Co-founder and COO of Oraichain, an Artificial Intelligence-powered oracle and ecosystem for blockchains. ^[1][2]

Education

Diep Nguyen attended Hanoi University of Science & Technology where she earned a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from 2006 to 2009. In 2009, she attended Keio University for a degree in Information and Environment studies. From 2012 to 2014, she studied for her Masters degree in Media & Governance at the Keio University. Afterward, she earned a Ph.D. in Media & Governance at Keio University from 2014 to 2017. ^[2]

Career

Nguyen started her career in 2014 as a Research Associate at Keio University. In 2016, she became a Writing and Research Consultant at Keio until June 2017. From 2017 to 2018, she served as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST). She also works as a Lecturer at the University of Engineering & Technology, Hanoi. ^[2]

Oraichain

In August 2020, Diep Nguyen co-founded Oraichain alongside Chung Dao & Duc Pham and she serves as the AI Lead of the company. In June 2023, she was promoted to the position of Chief Operating Officer (COO) for Oraichain. ^[2]

Oraichain (ORAI) is a public blockchain that allows users to create different data requests. Instead of users, smart contracts can also request data securely from Artificial Intelligence (AI) APIs through Oraichain. The blockchain network is built based on Cosmos SDK along with Terdemint’s Byzantine Fault Tolerance consensus that helps speed up transactions’ confirmation time. ^[1]

ORAI

ORAI is the native token created and contained in the Oraichain network. There are three types of ORAI, including ERC20 ORAI on the Ethereum network, BEP-20 ORAI on the BNB Chain, and Native ORAI on the Oraichain Mainnet. ^[4]

The ORAI token has a total supply of 16,779,272 allocated between the Ecosystem, the DAO treasury, and the Foundation. ^[4]
