He was the Founder at Kikai from December 2016 to January 2023 in Tokyo, Japan, where he led a consulting company specializing in Web, Blockchain, and AI technologies, completing projects for international clients including Vizgard, Indigo, Parsley, and InfoDeliver. He served as Co-Founder & CTO at MELD from April 2021 to July 2022 in Singapore, leading an R&D team of 25. His work there included completing the Initial Stake Pool Offering (ISPO), token launch, vesting, staking, and the Akamon Alpha & Beta phases. He also conducted research and development in areas such as crypto lending, security, smart contract programming language theory (Hachi, Plutus), and layer-two solutions (Akamon, Hydra). He continued as an Advisor at MELD from July 2022 to July 2023. From August 2022 to November 2023, he was the Founder & CEO at Kreate in Singapore, a Web3 company focused on bridging Fine Art across Web2 & Web3 ecosystems, responsible for leading business execution, product design, and protocol development. As Co-Founder and CTO of RISE labs since November 2023, which is associated with the development of RISE Chain, Hai Nguyen is focused on advancing the platform's technical capabilities. He also holds the position of Chairman at Kreate since November 2023. His responsibilities at RISE labs include leading and managing the technical development team, defining the technical architecture and roadmap for the RISE Chain platform, overseeing the development and implementation of core blockchain protocols and smart contracts, and ensuring the security, scalability, and performance of the platform. He is involved in making key technical decisions regarding technology stack, infrastructure, and integrations, and collaborating with other co-founders and stakeholders on overall project strategy. A key focus is on accelerating the EVM through technologies like Parallel EVM, Versioned Merkle Tree, RiseDB, and the RISE Rollup Stack, working towards achieving high performance metrics, targeting 1 Gigagas/s and 100k TPS.
