Parth Bhalla

Parth Bhalla is a technologist and entrepreneur based in New York City. He is a co-founder and Tech Architect of , a self-custodial finance platform designed to support spending, trading and earning across blockchain networks. His technical interests include blockchain infrastructure, systems, threshold-signature and multi-party computation, alternative virtual-machine interoperability, and predictive modeling. Early Life and Education

According to his personal website, he started building games and software at age 12. An encounter with in 2013 introduced him to peer-to-peer technology and contributed to his interest in decentralized systems. He began mining in 2015 and later worked with infrastructure and open-source software. [1]

Career

Civic Technology and Project Hetu

Before co-founding , Bhalla participated in Microsoft’s Student Partner program, where his work focused on emerging technologies including blockchain and machine learning. [3] [6]

Bhalla also worked on civic-technology and entrepreneurship initiatives in India. His personal website states that he contributed to the Central Board of Secondary Education’s academic blockchain-document system. Tria’s whitepaper describes this work as collaboration on decentralized-identity infrastructure for the Government of India. [1] [3]

Bhalla founded Innovate Future, an initiative supporting young entrepreneurs through workshops and skills programs. He also participated in entrepreneurship and skill-building initiatives associated with Delhi’s Ministry of Education. [6]

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Bhalla founded Project Hetu. His personal website describes Hetu as a WhatsApp-based system that used predictive modeling to help connect hospitals and patients with relevant information and assistance.
