Rick Pardoe is an Ethereum and blockchain software developer, known for his role as the Core Developer and Co-Founder of Liquity. Education
Rick Pardoe attended a Web Development Bootcamp at Bloc, focusing on Computer Science. His academic background also includes an MSc in Economics from the University of Nottingham, completed in 2007. Furthermore, Pardoe earned a BSc in Physics from the University of Bristol.[1]
Career
In December 2019, Pardoe co-founded Liquity together with Robert Lauko. As the Core Developer he focuses on constructing the smart contract system. His work includes math foundations, security testing, and collaboration with auditors.
Before Liquity, Pardoe served as a Blockchain Developer at ETHDevs.com from June 2017 to December 2019. In this role, he specialized in Solidity blockchain development on Ethereum, emphasizing security best practices and contributing to projects like "DeciMath."
Earlier in his career, Pardoe worked as a self-employed B2B Technology Copywriter, assisting technology companies with content creation. He also operated as a self-employed SEO Consultant and Web Publisher, involved in digital content publishing and SEO consultancy. Throughout his career, Pardoe has demonstrated expertise in various roles, including blockchain development, copywriting, and SEO consulting.[1][2][4]
