Andrew McCormick pursued higher education at the University of Virginia, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree. Following his undergraduate studies, he attended George Mason University to obtain a Juris Doctor degree. He is licensed to practice law in Virginia, Washington D.C., and New York. McCormick began his professional journey as a litigator at Eversheds Sutherland LLP. His legal career then transitioned toward regulatory work within the financial sector. McCormick held regulatory-focused roles at firms including E*TRADE and Morgan Stanley. [1]
In early 2022, McCormick joined eToro, initially in a legal capacity, and later became Head of eToro US. In this role, he served as chief executive of eToro's broker-dealer, its New York BitLicensed entity, and its money services business, overseeing the launch of regulated digital asset products across those entities. On June 4, 2026, McCormick was appointed Head of Institutional and Market Development at Chainlink Labs. In this role, he leads Chainlink Labs' institutional engagement strategy, including building relationships with sell-side and buy-side analysts, developing programs for financial institutions and research platforms, and supporting tokenized asset integration, cross-chain settlement, and capital markets infrastructure work. He also supports educational initiatives on blockchain utility and Chainlink's role in onchain infrastructure. [2]
