Education

Tammy Camp attended Auburn University from 1997 to 1998, where she studied arts and sciences before continuing her education at Georgia State University. From 1998 to 2002, she completed a Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies with a focus on audio production and film. Career

Tammy Camp has worked in venture capital, technology startups, fintech, and digital payments. After founding Internet Retail Services (2001–2004), she served as chief executive of ComCorp, Inc. from 2004 to 2011 and later became managing partner of Camp International, a venture advisory and capital-raising firm, from 2010 to 2012.

Between 2012 and 2014, Camp founded and led Action Factory, while also consulting for on product management, business development, and API strategy. In 2014, she joined Stellar Development Foundation as Head of Growth, where she worked on user adoption initiatives during the network’s early development. During the same period, she advised technology companies including Boomtown! and later worked with NFX Capital on investor relations and fundraising activities.

In September 2017, Camp co-founded Stronghold and became its chief executive officer. The company develops payment infrastructure and banking technology, including solutions for account-to-account payments, embedded finance, and digital asset settlement. Under her leadership, Stronghold has participated in projects involving blockchain-based payment networks and stablecoin infrastructure.
