Sleepless AI is a Web3+AI gaming platform, that blends artificial intelligence and blockchain technology. Overview
Sleepless AI was founded by John Cliff, a developer renowned for creating different big-hit games in the last 15 years. Other leading team members include co-founder Michelle Lewis, an award-winning gaming story writer who heads the narrative creation for the virtual companions and gaming worlds.[4]
On December 28, 2023, the project launched with the Sleepless AI token sale. The project aims to offer unparalleled emotional support and immersive gaming experiences through AI companions. At its core, Sleepless AI seeks to revolutionize the gaming industry with its unique approach and the extensive expertise of its team. It plans to launch two initial games, HIM and HER, offering players a unique, interactive experience.[4][5]
Lore
Several years ago, scientists confirmed the existence of parallel universes and discovered a method of transportation. Thus, a secret project called "Project HIM" emerged - to transport a group of Al explorers to different parallel universes in order to explore new opportunities for human survival. However, the plan went awry and the explorers were unable to return to the earth universe...[6]
On April 14, 2024, the team announced that HIM had officially received Appstore approval in 150+ countries worldwide. This will enable players from most countries and regions around the globe to enjoy the game anytime, anywhere.[7]
Gameplay
The In-App game operates in two modes. HIM and HER. Players can gain access to the game using social logins or crypto wallets. It offers a wide selection of over 10 boyfriend and girlfriend characters, each with distinct personalities. Once a player makes a pick, the AI companions become their SBT (Soul Bounded Token), bound exclusively and cannot be traded. Players can engage in conversations with their virtual boyfriends and girlfriends, and share their daily lives, stories, and even pictures, deepening their connection and intimacy.[8]
Experience Gotcha and mystery boxes
The game offers features like Gotcha and mystery boxes. Users are given chances to open surprise gifts, including clothing, props, tokens, and more. The higher the level of players' AI companions, the greater the chances of obtaining rare and exclusive items. New mini-games are also continuously added to the platform. Players can explore secret interactions by touching their companion's face or body and observing their unique reactions.[9]

The Sleepless AI NFT Genesis sale was held by auction from December 31, 2023, 13:00 HKT to January 2, 2024, 00:00 HKT. The starting price was 1 BNB with a bid increment of 0.1 BNB. At the end of the auction, the highest bidder wins the NFT.[10]
