Revolutionising Digital Assets

In a June 2025 interview on Dinis Guarda's podcast, Myers discussed his background in public service, his transition from government to the digital asset industry, and his views on blockchain regulation and financial innovation. Myers explained that his interest in economics, business, and policymaking was influenced by his family's emphasis on public service and was further shaped by his work in U.S. politics and the Treasury Department, where he gained experience in legislation, international trade, and financial policy. He described BitGo's evolution from a cryptocurrency custody provider into a broader institutional digital asset platform through technological development, acquisitions, and expanded services including stablecoins, trading, and tokenization. Myers also emphasized the importance of clear U.S. regulatory frameworks for digital assets, arguing that domestic policy could influence global standards, while highlighting stablecoins and tokenization as technologies with the potential to improve financial systems. Looking ahead, he discussed the growing relationship between blockchain and artificial intelligence, suggesting that their combined development could drive innovation across sectors including finance and gaming while supporting broader access to digital financial services.
